The team behind the product

Software spends now. Someone has to say yes.

Kordio holds the rules and the record for money your software moves. Before a service issues a refund, a job releases a payout, or an agent calls a paid tool, it asks us, and we answer against policy you wrote: allowed, needs a human, or denied. We sign what we allow so your executor can verify it, we keep the balanced books for what happened, and we hold none of your money.

Our mission

Put the control in front of the action.

Every spend control in existence was designed around a human pausing to think. Cards, approval chains, procurement queues, month-end review. Agents remove the person and the pause, and everything downstream quietly stops working.

We found this the hard way. We ran a payments product, so we already had the books and the reconciliation. Then we pointed agents at real money and could not answer a much simpler question fast enough to matter: is this agent allowed to do this, right now?

So we built the thing that decides, and made it sign what it allows. The signature is what makes it real rather than advisory: your executor can demand proof of authorization, and only we can produce it. We sit in the path of the decision and nowhere near your funds.

What we believe

Three principles we do not compromise on.

  1. 01

A control that runs afterwards is not one.

The check has to happen before the action, and it has to bind whoever executes. A service that records what should have been allowed is a diary, not a gate. That is why every decision we allow is signed.

  2. 02

Pricing is transparent or it is broken.

Infrastructure this important should not require a demo call to see the price. Every tier is on the website, starting at $0. Card in, keys out, ship the same afternoon.

  3. 03

The engineer moving the money is the customer.

Every decision goes through a single filter: does this make it easier for the team holding the pager at 2am? If not, it does not ship.

Kordio builders

Three co-founders. One thesis.

We have spent the last decade inside payments and financial infrastructure, coordinating money across systems that were never designed to talk to each other. Kordio is what we wished existed on day one.
Alberto Conceição

Alberto Conceição

Co-founder

Leads product and engineering. Spent years building consumer fintech and payments infrastructure before deciding the coordination layer underneath was the part that needed rebuilding.

Daniel Rocha

Daniel Rocha

Co-founder

Leads go-to-market and developer success. Talks to every customer in the first 90 days. Believes the best product feedback comes from the engineer holding the pager when a rail goes down at 11pm.

Tomás Almeida

Tomás Almeida

Co-founder

Leads infrastructure and protocol work. Lives in the parts of the stack most engineers should never have to touch, so the parts they do stay clean.
